Larry was a proud retired United States Air Force veteran who lived life to the fullest for himself, his wife family, friends and the Lord. He was never happier than when he was riding his Harley, gardening, loving his dogs, or singing in the church choir. Larry served in United States Air Force for twenty-six years, including five overseas tours followed by careers with Shell Oil Company and American Express. His life was nothing short of an adventure, and most importantly love for wife, family and friends. Larry’s wisdom, knowledge and kind smile had a positive impact on all he met.

Rudder and his wife, Kayoka of San Ysidro, California, Lester Rudder and his wife, Veola of the Philippines; and sisters, Ann Terry of Lone Star, and Mary Catherine Sapp and her husband, Tim of Dallas.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. What a gentlman Larry was. I met Larry 15 years ago in the security industry. I learned a few things from Larry but the biggest impression he made was that he was just so kind to everyone. I always looked forward to seeing Larry b/c he was never a loss for words.

Defiantly missed, christy and dave dix

Larry was a good guy. Got to know him through our Air Force reunions, and came to be friends. Sort of quiet, but a very interesting person with a wide variety of interests. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sue and the family.
