Joshua Lynn Simmons, 15, of Vidor, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at his residence.
A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Joshua had lived in Vidor for the past five years, and was a student at Vidor Junior High School.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Curtis Laramore and Christal Simmons, of Vidor; sister, Shasta Simmons of Vidor; brother, Christen Day of Natchez, Mississippi; grandparents, Fred and Catherine Marsh of Vidor; and his uncles, Jerry Marsh and his wife Margaret of Beaumont, David Marsh of Vidor, and Fred Marsh, Jr. of Mauriceville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial following at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, October 15, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
