Willard H. Parrott, 87, of Beaumont died October 2, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. A native of Colquitt, Georgia and resident of Beaumontsince 1950. Mr. Parrott worked in wholesale and retail sales. He also served in the United States Army during World War II,was a fifty year member of Karem Temple anda fifty year member of Grande Lodge of Georgia AF & AM #13.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonsus and Alice Parrott, and his sister, Mary Harvey. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Reed Parrott of Beaumont; son, Richard Lee Parrott of Beaumont; daughter, Melinda Conner and husband Billy of Beaumont; four grandchildren, Kathryn Barclay, Devon Rains, Christopher Smith, Coda Conner; three great-grandchildren, Corbin Branch, Caine Barclay, Carmyn Barclay.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, October 4, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
