Jaden Mekale Cross, 15, of Crosby died Friday, January 6, 2012. Born July 3, 1996, to Lori Lynn Robbins and Marc Ryan Cross in Cleveland, he was a resident of the Crosby area for the last ten years. Jaden was a student at Crosby High School and played trumpet in band. He enjoyed his computer and playing video games.
Jaden is survived by his father, Marc Cross of Nederland; mother, Lori Werth of Livingston; grandparents, Carolyn and Odis Rutledge of Crosby, Renee Marby of Baytown, Gary Cross of Fred and Ricky Robbins of Groves; sister, Brianna Cross of Bridge City; brothers, Gabriel Patton of Baytown and River and Ridge Werth of Livingston; also a host of additional relatives and friends. He will especially be missed by his faithful four legged companions, Charley, Penny, Max, Sam and Little Bit.
His funeral service will be Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00p.m.until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Broussard’s.
