Nimrod “Polly” Parrott, 95, of Kountze, died Tuesday September 28, 2004 at Pine Arbor Nursing Center in Silsbee. Graveside service will be Friday, October 1, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Berry Cemetery in Lufkin. A gathering of family and friends will be today, Thursday, September 30, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625.
A native of Lufkin, he lived in this area for 70 years and was an Auto Mechanic for Sour Lake Motor Company.
He is preceded in death by his 3 brothers: Harvey Parrott, Kirthew Parrott and Daniel Parrott.
Nimrod is survived by his wife: Laura Parrott of Kountze; sons: Jerry Parrott and his wife Evalena of Baytown, Bill Parrott and his wife Brooksie of Livingston, Dickie Parrott and his wife Deedle of Lumberton, and stepson: Donald Davis and his wife Tina of Vidor. 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
