Steven “Steve” Thomas Rumsey, Sr., 53, of Beaumont died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at Methodist Hospital, Houston.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was a terminal manager with P.W.I. Inc. He also was a United States Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Rumsey of Beaumont; son, Steven Rumsey, Jr. and his wife Krista of Spring; granddaughter Kylie Brooke Rumsey of Spring; father, C.H. Rumsey of Lake Charles; sisters; Lorraine Henry and her husband Bill, and Kathy Mizell all of Lake Charles; brother, Butch Rumsey of Las Vegas; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother June Rumsey.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2004 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from noon until service time on Monday at the mortuary.
