Frank J. Polite, 95, of Beaumont died Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, he had lived in the area for several years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
Mr. Polite was a wonderful co-worker and good friend. As a young woman working with mostly men at Texas US Chemical, Mr. Polite took me under his wing and made me proud of those clean floors! God Speed Mr. Polite!

I workd under his supervision at the rubber plant for 14 years. He was a good boss and he respected his men and treated them fairly. It was my pleasure to call him friend.
It was my honor to have worked with Frank at Tex-US Chemical. Frank always went above and beyond what a supervisor was required to do.
