When reflecting on Lillian Jones’ life, she was a woman of virtue and honor. She was not a woman of materialistic values. Her desire was to always live by the laws of God and to teach her children to do the same. Her job on this earth was looking after her family’s well being and to be active in her church, St. Anthony’s Cathedral. She was a very active volunteer at St. Anthony School as her children grew up, as well as being President of the Cathedral Ladies and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She also had the honor of unveiling the monument when the Cathedral was first restored.
