Helen Marie Hargraves, 84, of Hamshire died August 17, 2011, at the Arboretum of Winnie.
A native of Port Neches, she was born on March 19, 1927, and lived in the Beaumont and Port Arthur areas all her life. Helen loved to bake cakes, dance and crochet.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Hargraves and his wife, Dana of Winnie and Alex Hargraves, Jr. of Fannett; daughters, Linda Sanchez and her husband, Robert also of Fannett, Cecile Hebert and her husband, Gerald of Hamshire, Nelda Bergeron and her husband, Larry and Carla Pitman and her husband, Kent all of Port Neches; sister Edna Harrington of Nederland; grandchildren, Misty Williams, Robert Hargraves, Monique Hopkins, Melissa LeBlanc, LeeAnn Hebert, Cynthia Woodson, Brian Meloncon, Hollie Mathis, Michelle Jardine, Katrina Petitt, Melanie Bergeron, Jackie Balsano, Nathan Terro, Dustin, Terro, Keisha Terro, Acacia Ahumada, Marissa Pitman, Micha Pitman, Kelsey Pitman, Natasha Hargraves, Aaron Hargraves and Tyler Hargraves; great grandchildren, Shelby Hargraves, Jered Geis, Brianne Hopkins, Ashley Hopins, Kaden Hopkins, Lacey Landry, B. J. Meloncon, Jared Woodson, Jacie Woodson, Jamie Garza, Jacob Garza, Julie Rodriguez, Jessica Mathis, Jordan Mathis, Rayce Romero, Slate Lemeaus, Ryan Nicholson, Kylie Nicholson, Kaden Williams, Collin Williams, Asia Tero, Daiken Terro Aiden Terro, Abiel Ahumanda, Riggs Bergeron, Katlyn Balsano and Zachary Hargraves; great great grandchildren, Kalen Nicholson and Kyler Raggio; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Hargraves, Sr.; and daughter, Ranella Hargraves.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Dr. in Winnie with burial to follow at Landrum Cemetery, 1500 Hwy 124, Fannett, Texas 77705.. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011, at Broussard’s.
