Peter Anthony Bonura, 44, of Vidor, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at The Oaks in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born to Frances Fee Bonura and Joseph Clarence Bonura on December 29, 1966. Peter enjoyed spending time with his family and being involved in church.
Survivors include his brothers, Chris Bonura and Greg Bonura and his wife, Sheri all of Beaumont and Mike Bonura and his wife, Kim of Vidor; sister, Mary Bonura Miller and her husband, Jason of Vidor; nephew, Mason Anthony Miller; nieces, Jamie Green and her husband, David, Jenifer Bonura and Amanda Miller; great-nephews, Conner Green and Jacob Bernard; and great-nieces, Alexandria Bernard and Kaylee Green.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and J.C. Bonura.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
