Ruth Bausman, 84, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral Service will be Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s Chapel 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625 with burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native of Pikeville, Kentucky, Ruth lived in Sour Lake and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Bausman of Sour Lake; sons: Thomas Gillispie and his wife Sue of Dayton, Ohio, Gary Gillispie and his wife Bonnie of Sour Lake; daughters: Joyce Rich of Sour Lake, Shirley Sacra and her husband Terry of Bevel Oaks; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and her Special brother Mose “Jr” Ramsey of Pikeville, Kentucky.
