Dorothy Brackin, 95, of Port Neches passed away Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Dorothy wa born to the late Grace and Tom Lambert in Cameron, Louisiana, on March 1, 1909 and was one of seven children. The family moved to Port Neches, Texas when she was nine years old. She grew up to be a lover of horses, cattle, fishing, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William (Bill) Brackin, and her siblings Guy Lambert, Ollie Kinard, Sam Lambert, Bud Lambert, Alma Flowers, Alia Lambert, and a stepson William Brackin Jr. She is survived by her stepdaughter Pattye Mire and son-in-law J.D., nieces Sue Page, Beverly Field and nephew, Jack Kinard, as well as several step-grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
