June Adams Traiteler, 84, died Saturday, December 25, 2010. She was born June 21, 1926 to Virgie Adkinson and Thomas Clinton Adams in Huntsville and was a resident of Beaumont for most of her life. A retired teacher from the Beaumont Independent School District, she enjoyed sailing, traveling, and being outdoors with nature.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne Traiteler Doland of Beaumont and Kathy Whitcomb of Arizona; grandchildren, Stephen Hickman, Patrick Hickman, Jason Doland and his wife Mistina, Justin Doland and his wife Melanie, Paul Traiteler and his wife Karen and Brandi Emfinger and her husband Jason; great grandchildren, Nash Doland, Macie Traiteler and Evan Traiteler.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Traiteler; and son, Eddie Traiteler.
Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
