Anthony David Gill, Sr.

My thoughts and prayers are still with the family. Aaron, losing a brother is the hardest thing to overcome..to his parents,cousins,immediate and extended family and friends, I keep you all in my prayers as well.

I can remember when I use to baby sit Anthony. He always had a big bark, but a soft heart. He was always willing to help when you needed him. He always had a BIG smile every time you saw him. He was a Big Boy, and could scare a person with his looks. Me and Anthony went out together one time to the Honky Tonk and you can believe that no one was going to mess with me with him around. I think he knew just about everyone out there, and we had a good time. He was always there when I needed him. I miss him greatly. I will miss that great smile he always had.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I get solace knowing so many people thought so highly of him. It's exactly how he wanted to be remembered.. Till I see you again Bro, I'll be missing you.

I met Anthony when I was little. He was big Big Cousion, Tonya Carnley's first boyfriend & always had little crust on him! He had a deep voice & A HUGE Smile, could make u smile!! I was only around 10 or 11.. Im 27, now & I heard he passed, Oh my, I still remember him like it was yesterday!! My cousion really loved him, (and he was her first boyfriend/love) & of course her little cousion had a crush on her Every boyfriend, but Anthony I will NEVER forget. I lost my son, Tanner Allen Kotlarz & hes on Broussards if anyone wants to look, I cant explain the pain of losing a child, Im sure The "Gill" family knows! Time is the only thing that helped me. It almost killed me!! Your not suposta burry your children. But My thoughts & prayers are with the Gill family!! Anthony will be truely missed!! Ill never forget that Big Smile & Big bright Eyes!!! Hes in a better place!! With my little Angel Tanner, Mommy Loves you!!

Anthony was funny sweet honset guy...who likes to have fun and hang out with all his friends...we are going to miss him so much....

Thanks everyone for the commets. My dad was a great man. I miss him terribly. But he is in a great place now i know he is happy and where he wants to be and is watching over me.. Please keep the Gill family in your prayers. I love you daddy....

Anthony Gill better known as "Big Show" was one of my closest friends anyone could ever have. I will miss drinking a beer, talking bull and laughing with him. He was rude and crude and wouldnt think twice of chin checkin me if I wasnt n reality. Thats what made him unique and I liked that about him. The memories n my head he left behind will make me laugh out loud hopefully in places where I will not get embarrased. He will be missed. The whole Gill family will be in my heart and thoughts.

I will pray for the family he left behind as they will need some prayers. I do feel very bad that someone so young has passed but God has a plan for everybody...So all we can do now is comfort the family in there time of mourning! I will be praying for mellissa and all those babies she has to raise alone now but, God will comfort her in her time of need!

Very sad to hear of this. I remember when my daughter passed in 1994, he walked all the way from his house to Farmers Funneral home to pay his respects. Will be forever missed, he was 1 of the few good men. Sorry for the familys loss.

Im sry for the gill family.Anthony always made me laugh ever time i seen him.I could be down and he always knew how to get a smile out of me.When we was in jail togather for 90 days he always had my back and took up for me and i had his..Ill never forget that.He was a true friend and thats something you dont come across everday.Aron gill if you need to talk anytime email me.I had a brother once and i know what its like to lose one....r i p Anthony and you and my brother have fun till i see yall again.
