Robert “Bobby” Walker, 58, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Bobby was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont and worked for Teamsters Local 920 out of Beaumont for approximately ten years.
He loved fishing and hunting as much as he loved his dear family and friends. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Walker of Beaumont; daughters, Robin Walker-Baxter and her husband Kenneth of Beaumont and Jennifer J. Mann and her husband Allen of Lavergne, TN; sons, Robert E. Walker, Jr., Richard E. Walker and his wife Rose, Randall E. Walker and his wife Karon, and Joshua E. Walker, all of Beaumont; mother, Mary Elizabeth Walker of Beaumont; brother, Ernest C. Walker, Sr. of Beaumont; sister, Sonja L. Miori of Inez; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at Our Lady of The Assumption Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillebrandt Cemetery in LaBelle, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major, Beaumont. A Christian Vigil will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, August 17, 2004 at the mortuary.
