Hattie Hubbard, 88, of Saratoga died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at her residence. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625. A gathering of family and friends will be today, August 13, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the mortuary.
A native of Edge, Texas, she lived in Saratoga for the past five years and was a restaurant manager.
Hattie is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Hubbard; brothers, Carroll and Melvin Stepleton.
She is survived by her sisters, Estelle Williams of Wills Point, Lucille Gilmore of Lufkin, Bitsy Craven of Crockett, Margaret Savant of Ragley, Louisiana; Mildred Ashworth and husband A.J. of Saratoga; brother, Frank Stepleton of Gravois Mills, MO; numerous nieces and nephew.
