Jeannie Lynn Valentine, 33, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Hermann Memorial Baptist Beaumont Hospital. A native of Beaumont and life long resident of the Beaumont area, she was a past Madam President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary # 116.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Valentine; grandparents, Jasper and Annie Valentine, Roy and Ruth Odle, and Iris and Eleanor Champagne.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Darleene and James Champagne of Beaumont; brothers, James Robert “J.R.” Valentine of Bridge City and Bryan Watson of Beaumont; stepmother, Ramona Valentine Scott of Bridge City; stepsisters, Robin Thibodeaux and her husband B.J. of Winnie and Misty Thurman and her husband Jimmy of Bridge City; grandparents, William “Buck” and Mildred Houston of Tulsa, Okalahoma; aunts, Clara Rivers and her husband Steve of Lumberton, Claretta Johnson and her husband Johnny of Starks, Louisiana, Louise Jeanis of Vidor, Geraldine Nelson and her husband Jerry of Beaumont, Beuliah Sumner of Jenks, Oklahoma and Janice Odle of Vidor; uncles, David Demney and his wife Lily of Hallettsville, Charley Guettler and his wife Cora of Taft, Danny Odle and his wife Marjie of Camry, Indiana and Jeff Champagne of Nederland.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, August 13, 2004 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
