Lela Elaine Ferguson Ezell
Lela Elaine Ferguson Ezell, 52, of Labelle died Friday, February 20, 2004 at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2004 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, February 22, 2004 at the Mortuary.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia Ferguson of Labelle; daughter, Renee Ferguson of Labelle; brother, Richard Ferguson and his wife Carla and their son, Travis of Corpus Christi; nieces, Lisa Garner and her husband Jeff of El Campo and Mary Ann Ferguson of College Station.
Elaine has been a member of the Labelle-Fannett Volunteer Fire Department since it’s conception in her home. She has been a member of Labelle Baptist Church since 1995. Elaine has worked as a Correctional Officer at the Gist State Jail for the last eight years.
