Myrna Loy Trump James, 79, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Beaumont Baptist Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Myrna was born September 21, 1930. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She cherished fellowship with her family and friends, enjoyed cooking, and loved being at the beach.
Her husband, Malvin Edward James preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth James of Vidor; daughter, Julianne Pell of Lumberton; grandchildren, Misty Lee Whitney and her husband Dell of Silsbee and Brandy Michelle Shipp and her husband Brian of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Justin Whitney, Regan Shipp, Shane Whitney and Marlee Shipp; and sisters, Margie Mack of Milano, Texas and Bobbye Gay and her husband Leonard of Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 22, 2010, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Broussard’s.
