Dortha L. McNeill-Bowen, 83, of Sour Lake died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Kountze Nursing Center. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 9, 2004 at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake, with Father Martin Nelson officiating.
A native of Merryville, Louisiana, she lived in Sour Lake for over 30 years and was a restaurant manager.
Dortha is preceded in death by her granddaughter: Lisa Lloyd.
She is survived by her husband: Clarence Bowen of Sour Lake; her sons: Donald J. McNeill & wife Olga of Sugar Hill, Georgia, Robert McNeill of Sour Lake, and Michael McNeill of Kountze; her daughters: Patricia Bucklew of Kountze, and Melinda Spencer & her husband Elmer of Sour Lake; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
