FRANK “F.W.” RICHARDS
Francis William “Frank” “F.W.” Richards, 80, of Beaumont died Wednesday, August 4, 2004.
Frank was born on July 11, 1924 in Devers, Texas and moved to Beaumont as a young boy. He was a retired pipefitter of 38 years from Texaco Chemical.
Frank was a very quiet man, spoke few words, and would do anything for anyone who asked. His passion was his family; of which never doubted his love for them. God blessed him with hands that were especially creative and handy. No project was ever too big or too small.
F. W. was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Fay “Dot” Plake Richards. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kathryn Munns of Houston and Melissa “Lisa” Enderle of Beaumont; three sons, James “Buddy” Richards, Gary Richards and Steven Richards, all of Beaumont. Frank was known as “PEPA” to his eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Simpson and Frances Kiser; and a host of other family members and loved ones.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning until service time.
