Blanche Virginia Singleton, 83 years, of Nederland, passed away, Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Virginia was born May 7, 1921 in Port Arthur and had lived in the Mid-County area all of her life. She was a member of the Nederland First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many many years.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, August 6, 2044 at Brorussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. Nederland, TX. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Broussard’s Nederland Chapel with Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Singleton of Groves; two daughters, Novieta Hall and Ginger Singleton both of Nederland. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Larry Singleton and Cody Hall; along with two great grandchildren, Spencer and Trevor Singleton.
