Arthur E “Mac” McClusky, 87, of Kountze, Texas died Wednesday, August 3, 2004 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 8, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas 77625, with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. A gathering of family and friends will begin Friday, August 6, 2004 from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native and life long resident of Hull, Arthur lived in Kountze and was owner and operator in the Construction industry and was also former Mayor of Sour Lake, Texas.
Arthur is preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters
He is survived by his wife: Anna Bell Pelham McClusky of Kountze; sons: James Page and his wife Gloria of Orange, Charles Edward Page and his wife Carol of Kountze, Joe Neal McClusky of Jasper; sisters: Tommie Lee Granger of Spurger, Dessie Merle McClusky of Sour Lake; brothers: Thurman E. McClusky of Silsbee, Charles Edward McClusky of Austin, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Following the service, the family wishes to invite their friends to a gathering for food and reminiscing at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton.
