Wallace E. Wood, 87, of Beaumont, died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at Pine Arbor in Silsbee. A native of Eunice, Louisiana, he was a resident of Beaumont since 1929. Mr. Wood was a United States World War II Navy veteran and a retired operator for Gulf/Chevron.
He is survived by his sister, Nora Faust of the Houston area; and numerous stepchildren and great stepchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, August 6, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
