Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Jacqueline Adams of Silsbee; daughters, Debbie Smith and her husband David of Lumberton and Denise Nordenger of Abilene; sons, Michael Adams of Abilene, Stephen Adams and his wife Tami of Alabama and Robert Adams and his wife Cecilia of Tokyo, Japan; brother, Robert B. Adams and his wife Ann of Beacon, New York; nine grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

His grandson, Joshua Arviso, preceded him in death.
