Vernon Lee Peveto was born on September 8, 1951 in Port Arthur, and passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A memorial service will be 6:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
Vernon worked as a welder for 30 years and carpenter for 10 years. He loved fishing, camping, cooking, and being surrounded by friends and family, also in his early years, Vernon enjoyed boxing for Dick Menchaca’s Boxing Academy.
Vernon is survived by his wife Betty Nectoux and step-children Kevin Nectoux and wife April, and Katie Nectoux; his daughter Amanda Boone and husband Jason and there children Clara and Aidan Boone all of Groves; also two step-sons, Michael Broussard and Danael Broussard.
