5 years ago, tonight, we got the worst telephone call of our lives. Your IC nurse called telling us you were not doing well with the breathing machine. We rushed to St. E to find the doors into IC open, usually they are closed, and we walked toward your room, which was overflowing with hospitl personnel. They prevented us from going to your room and asked us to wait outside. A short while later, the doctor came out and informed us that your heart had stopped. Even though we knew it was God's will, and that He was calling you Home, we hated to see you go. Cory, we miss you so very much. Everr minute of every day. God blessed us with your life, you were such a daily inspiration to us alll, teaching us the true meaning of love and strength. I love you, Cory. I thought i should write to the family of the Bryant's and Say I am So Sorry For Your Loss. I heard about Cory On December 5, 2009 while I was On a Water and Breathing Break at the time, I was Shooting a Video For a Singing Contest I was doing Online and Inbetween time and I signed onto Yahoo Messenger and i got a message from one of Cory's Other Disability Penpal Friends about Cory's Passing.. Cory and I were Penpal Buddys, We Met On One of the Disabled Groups On Yahoo. Cory Told me About his Dog and other things and I was so blessed to get to know Cory throughout the years. about 6 months after his Passing it was a Blessing to Have a Chat with his Dad John when He Signed Onto Cory's Page.

Cory It has been close to 3-4 years now since You Had Passed On and I remember all the good Memories we had together online. I miss you so much and Thank-you for Greating My Dad at the gates In Heaven with a Number Of Other People I know when he arrived It was a Blessing for you to do.. I didn't know Cory had passed. Cory was a good friend when we were in school. He was always full of high-fives and smiles when I'd see him in the halls. Cory had a way of transcending his disability. He immediately made you feel comfortable with his disibility because he seemed as such. His strength to persevere should be hailed by all of us who do not have the challenges he faced in life. I have always tried to live life as if I'm writing my own obituary, and I can only hope that when I'm gone that people will have the fond memories of me as they do of Cory. I drove from Nashville, TN to Beaumont last year for the 20th Westbrook reunion on a last minute whim, and was glad I did. And now that I've learned of Cory's passing, I'm grateful that I got to see Cory again. Cory, I'm sure you have brightened up heaven since you've arrived, if that's possible. Just a warning, they may not take kindly to you hitting on all the ladies up there. Thanks for the smiles and thanks for showing us all what is possible.
