Jerry Romero, 59, of Port Arthur, died Sunday November 15, 2009 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A Christian vigil will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the mortuary.
Jerry was born November 15, 1950 in Port Arthur to Clebbie Romero, and Doris Bouillon. He retired as a sales representative in the auto industry, and served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Krystal Ashburn and husband Nick of Alabama; three sons, Jerry Romero and wife Raeann of Beaumont, Jason Romero of Beaumont, and Jarrod Romero of Alabama; two sisters, Renette Hebert and husband Rus of Port Neches, and Suzette Kotz and husband Paul also of Port Neches; five grandchildren, Colton, Carter, Zachery, Cadence, and Alexis; also his loving girlfriend, Tamara Abram of Port Arthur and a host of nieces, and nephews.
