Stephen “Steve” Sanders

So sorry to hear the sad news about Stephen. Knew him my whole childhood from kindergarden through graduation. Walked home together from Amelia Elementary many times together after school. Your family is in my thoughts & prayers.

Every single time I see kids playing basketball on a driveway I think for a brief moment of Steve, because he introduced me to the basketball game Horse one summer on my driveway when we about 11 years old. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry and sad to hear of the passing of stephen..he was what i would call one of the amelia neighbor hood boys..he was a kind and funny guy that could make you laugh no matter what..i am sorry that we lost touch, but the memories last forever.We went to school from kindergarden till graduation and i will never forget that time..Stephen will be missed, i am sure by many.

Just a note to say we are thinking about you. Sorry I was unable to go to the funeral. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Kandy called to let me know Steve had passed away. I can't begin to tell you how sad I was when she told me. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news. I had not seen Steve in a number of years, but having grown up together, you have a certain bond. You and your family are in our prayers.

Steve alway made you laugh and was a really nice person I bumped into hin from time to time since graduation and he was always the same guy. He will be missed remember the life don't morn to passing he will be waiting when we get there

Dear Sanders Family~
I am so very sorry for your loss. Steve and I were classmates from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation. He was a dear friend to me over those many years. We almost always had the same homeroom teacher, due to our last names, and interestingly enough we also share the same birthdate. He was such a sweet and likeable person all the years that we were together in school. We lost touch after graduation, like many of us do, and I only wish I had known that he and his family were still living locally, as I am. His passing is a shock to many of us, and I so regret having not attended his services. On behalf of those who I have managed to remain in contact with all these years later, may I say that we are keeping your family in our prayers, and remembering the times we shared with Stephen, and are all very proud to have been able to call him our friend. He was truly one of the GOOD GUYS. We'll miss you, buddy....

Dear Steve, Ella, Sherry and family,
It seems like we have known you all forever. We watched our children grow from babies to adults and now, for this to happen, it really is so sad. The last time I saw Stevie (sorry, this is still what I called him) about three weeks ago when y'all were working on your rent house, he looked good and seemed happy. I was so shocked when you called and gave me the terrible news that he is gone. We are so sorry for your entire family and are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened to learn of your passing away, and I pray that you are laughing again in heaven with the angels & with Grandma, Grandpa, and the rest of your beloved.
