Othella M. Reese — In Loving Memory

Othella M. Reese, 84, of Buna, died Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home in Silsbee.

She was born in San Augustine, Texas and lived in Buna where she was a homemaker.

Othella is survived by her children, Dale Reese of Houston, Linda Harper and her husband Ben of Humble, and Ricky Reese of Pleasure Island; grandchildren, Janell Klosterboer, Luke Harper, Kristie Goodman, Emily Mills, Jenny Venghaus, and Joseph Harper; and eleven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Leon Reese.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 6, 1009, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, November 5, 2009, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Othella was my Sunday School teacher for many years at North End Baptist Church. She and I became close friends. Most Sundays we sat together in church. She was a wonderful Christian woman, a great teacher, and friend. We had many wonderful times together. She will always have a special place in my heart.
