Colten Paul “Cole” Davis

I didn't know Cole or your family like so many others, but this adorable little boy has come into the hearts of so many. The video showed that he was very loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him and by others whose life he touched during this tragic loss. I pray that God gives you the strength to find happiness in the days to come. Again, I am very sorry for your loss!

Wow. What a beautiful baby boy Cole is. I say "is" because he will forever be a part of your daily life in spirit. I do not know you personally but have followed Cole's story on the news for the past week. I have two family members who have lost their small children due to sudden illnesses as well. My heart breaks for you. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you have endured and will continue to endure in the time to come. Find peace in knowing that your baby was a VERY loved and happy little boy. He has a glow to him that you don't always see in children today. My heart hurts for his little buddy that is in a lot of the pictures with him. I cannot fathom the amount of questions and confusions that lie within him. Your walk through life will be much different now, but Cole will always be a part of your journey. Cole looked like his mommy's best friend. The way he latched on to you showed that he was proud to have you as his mother. Hold that dear to your heart. I pray for you and that God gives you strength to continue to put one foot in front of the other each day and to let the memory of your angel live on.

I cannot imagine the loss of one of my sons...I know no words can express the grief you are feeling. I do not personally know your family, but saw your son play baseball in the spring. He was so precious....and it is comforting to know he is in God's arms now. You will be in my prayers!

I am heartbroken over your loss. My daughter, Yelena, was a friend of Cole's from the Clubhouse. Please know that your whole family will be in my prayers for a long time. Some people's ministry on this earth are much shorter than others, but often with more impact. Hopefully every one associated with Cole will come away with a better appreciation for life and a closer relationship with the Lord. I am very sorry for your loss. I did not know your precious Colten, nor do I know your family, but I know your pain, I lost my 17 year old son in november. there will be darkness and sorrow for the rest of our lives, but we will also find small moments of joy. I pray that God will wrap you in his loving, comforting arms and help you on this journey. we never ask for the title of grieving parent, nor do we want to wear these horrible concrete shoes, but someday, I hope we find a way to make them a little more comfortable until we can be with our children again. I'm so sorry for your loss. I never thought I could imagine it. I also lsot my son to a rare virus April 2007. He was a bit older than your son. I wish I could tell you it gets better with time, it does some, but in my heart it will never get better. I tell myself that he is in a good place and he is one of God's angels.
