Michael Thomas Peyton

Im sorry for your loss. I grew up in Bevil Oaks and went to school with Michael. He was always very friendly. May he rest in peace.

It was odd that today of all days I chose to read the obits in Beaumont TX since we live in Minnesota now. I remember Mike always having a smile on his face and a playful personality. When we would run into each other at the conventions he always had to touch my shoulder on the opposite side of where he stood and then laugh because I would look that way. Margie, Wayne, Dot, Tim and Brian you have truly lost a beautiful person but he did leave behind a host of good memories I am sure. You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you strive to find happiness in the days to come.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I attended Jr. High and High school with Michael. I remember him as smart, funny, and very kind. I am so sorry for your loss and pray for God's comfort and peace for you at this sad time.

It was obvious from the large turnout today at the memorial service, to the constant flow of support you have received from the brothers & sisters that you are loved very much by so many. Jehovah's love definitely extends far beyond anything we can even imagine. His love for you and your family is so great. Like Danny said in the talk, he has a yearning to bring Mike back. His desire to bring Mike back to his loved ones, and completely undo all that he has gone through is so strong. We know it won't be long before this happens. We will help you be strong, and make it through the end of this system. Brandon is so fortunate to have grandparents like you two to raise him, nurture him, and make sure that he is the first one Mike sees when he wakes up, just as Mike requested. We can't ever give up! We love you. Brandon, you are such a sweet, caring, wonderful boy just like your father. We love you too.

We are deeply greived by the loss of Michael. His upbeat personality and love of life as a little boy was contagious. We could always depend on Michael to find us at conventions where ever we sat. We would look around and there he would be bubbling over with excitement at having found us. Our family memories will always include the time spent with him as a little boy. I am so sorry for your loss...parents shouldn't have to go through such a tragic thing as losing a child. But at least you can be comforted in the fact that Mike died a faithful and courageous servant of Jehovah and he surely is in his memory awaiting life in a world free from pain. I think back over 20 years ago when I first met Jeanine at your house and how welcome Mike and you two made me feel, like a part of the family. I am glad I had an opportunity to get to know Mike and also glad that I was able to visit with him in July. I was shocked to hear the news of Michael's passing today. I am very sorry that I could not make it to his service. I met Michael in junior high school and we went on to high school and college together. He was a very thoughtful person who always put his friends needs ahead of his own. The last time I saw him was at our high school reunion. He was a very big part of organizing that event. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Dear Wayne, Margie and Brandon,

I did not know Mike for long but he was very special to me from the first time I met him. He always made it a point to talk to me and make me feel welcome. I loved his pea salad and he was always so proud of it. It made me very sad to see him suffering with the illness.

It goes without saying, there is nothing good about death, except, Mike is not suffering any more with a disease with no cure. He was a very sweet boy growing up and a very nice young man, father, nephew, cousin to all 3 of my children, especially my 2 girls, who are close in age to him, and son. Most of all he loved his God, Jehovah. His son, Brandon, was the "apple of his eye"!, and justifiably so, because he too is very bright, good looking, and a servant of Jehovah. We will all miss him terribly, but, hopefully, he won't have to be asleep in death long.

I cant believe this has happened! It seems like just yesterday that Michael and I were running around the Kingdom Hall parking lot on Lucas. Its been awhile since I have seen him. The last time I actually saw Micheal was at Worlds Gym, He had just gone thru a ruff time in his life and Was trying to lose some weight. We had talked a little and I saw him several weeks following that, then I didnt see him again. It was some time after that I saw Colleen & Dot and she told me he was not doing very well and I was really shocked. Now to hear about this really saddens me, as I remember all the things Michael and I did together growing up. From playing with his Star Trek characters when he lived on Navjo to Shooting BB guns and playing with his big black dog in Bevil Oaks, from Listening to Walkman radios on our way to Bayton Mall with our parents to Riding in his Silver Trans Am. Michael was a very good person I don't think he had a mean bone in him. Michael will be miss by all his friends and Family.
