Rebecca Morris, 43 years, of Groves, passed away, Friday, July 30, 2004 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Groves.
She was born November 11, 1960 in Port Arthur, and had been a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area. Rebecca was an Account Representative for The Physicians Management Co. She was a Member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday, August 1, 2003 at Broussard’s Mortuary 505 12th. St. Nederland with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on, Monday, August 2, 2004 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Dan Malian presiding, interment and graveside services will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Survivors include her husband, Rex D. Morris of Groves; mother, Becky Janis Glasscock Talley and step-father, Robert J. Talley of Nederland; and one sister, Deborah Carter of Port Arthur; one brother, Gerald Glasscock of Houston. Also surviving is six step-sisters, Alice Schehr, Lynn Snyder, Pat Talley, Daine Rutledge, Gail LaBath, Donna Sher, and one step=brother, Mark Talley.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Richard A. Glasscock, and two brothers, Thomas Allen Glasscock and Richard Carl Glasscock.
