Roy Hinson, 66, of Saratoga, Texas, died Tuesday July 27, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Broussard’s, 700 W. Saratoga Highway, Kountze, Texas with burial to follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native of Spurger, Roy lived in Saratoga for thirteen years and was a retired Supervisor in the Petroleum industry.
Roy is survived by his wife, Juanita Hinson of Saratoga; daughters, Tresia Lawson of Saratoga, Melissa Swearingen of Saratoga, Stephanie Arrington and her husband Scott of Colfax, Belinda Howland of Latexo, Texas, Martha Smalley and her husband Ray of Broken Bow Oklahoma, and Denise Kessler and her husband Ronnie of Amber, Oklahoma; sons, James Cantrell and his wife Peggy of Saratoga, Ricky Hinson and his wife Melinda of Elgin, Louisiana, and Derick Hinson of Saratoga; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Patsy Hinson of Silsbee and Sue McConnell of Houston, Texas; brothers, Wayne Hinson of Porter, Texas and Johnny “Butch” Hinson of Porter, Texas.
