Gary, I know we had our differences sometimes, but you were more of a dad to me than my own father. I look back at all the silly things we used to argue about and think of how that was just a part of you, and it makes me laugh. Remembering all the guy bonding we did on the weekends, going to the comic stores, and when you would trade baseball cards, it brings a smile to my face to remember it. Without you I would've probably failed a couple of math classes along the way. We all miss you here, and we all love you so much. I see the two beautiful kids you had with Momma, and I see so much of you in them. Thanks for being a dad, and a good friend.

Gary,I'm sorry I was not at you'r side in the end, are the time the kid have lost now that you are not around. I have found myself going back in time at the age of 12 when I first saw you and love at the same time as my first boyfriend and friend over the years, ending as my husband & father of our lives Eli, Bella, & Ashton.No one will ever know how much I loved you & you should have had more than this world gave you,but Im so thankful that God gave you to me for A time.Everytime I look at Bella I see your face.Thank you WE MISS YOU! love you Gary

I met Gary through my daughter Christina, they have been dear friends for many years. Gary was always polite, friendly, and great sense of humor. He was very appreciative of anything you would do for him wheather taking him to the Dr. or cooking him a home cooked meal espeacially "Italian". I feel very honored that the Lord led me to the hospital the day before he passed when he was still talking well, and knew what was going on Iasked him if he wanted to accept Jesus in his heart and he said yes maam. So I led him in the sinners prayer him repeating after me and he cried and I cried like a baby he was very sincere. I have an assurance that he made things right with the Lord. Gary will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Gary. Mrs. Norma /aka your adopted mom that took you under her wing :)

Gary was generous and thoughtful. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He was funny and sweet. He was tough and never showed fear. I always admired his courage. He had so much charisma and wit. Gary lived life like a shooting star, bright and fast.
Gary deserved so much more than he got from this world.

Gary W. Pruitt was born in 1971, Beaumont, Tx. He is survived by 3 children, parents, 1 sister, 2 brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins & Many friends, including Norma & Christina . He lived his entire life in the Nederland area. Gary will be missed by all.
