Vernon Doyle Freeman, 73, of Village Mills, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Funeral Services will be Friday, July 23, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, Texas, with burial at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills following the services. A gathering of family and friends will be today, July 22, 2004 from 6: 00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native of Village Mills, Texas, Vernon was a lifelong resident and a retired maintenance supervisor for TSO. He also was a United States Army Veteran, who served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his sons: Gary Freeman of Lumberton & Vernon Patrick Freeman of Village Mills; & 2 grandchildren: Chris Freeman of Village Mills & Sabrina Freeman also of Village Mills.
