Lillie Mae Jacobson, 71, of Sour Lake, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at St. Mary Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 24, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Sour Lake with Reverend Bill Fabriguez officiating with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, July 23, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Broussard’s 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze.
A native and lifelong resident Grayburg, Lillie was a retired Bookkeeper for Radley Electric.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Benjamin Jacobson; her parents, Edgar Ernest and Gertrude Johnson and her sister, Alma Louise Jannise.
Lillie is survived by her sons, Reverend Leslie “Les” Jacobson and his wife Patsy of Nome, Jackie Jacobson of Dallas, Danny Jacobson and his wife Darlene of Lufkin, and Jay Jacobson and his wife Shodi of Sour Lake; daughter, Jan Maddox and her husband Don of Kirbyville; brothers, Edgar Allen Johnson of Santa Fe Texas, Ernest Ray Johnson of Beaumont, and James Richard Johnson of Sour Lake; sisters, Lois Radley of Sour Lake, Beverly Ann Logsdon of Vidor and Beth Davis of Sour Lake; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
