Robbie Lee Glaze, 76, of Nome died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born June 30, 1928 in Doucette and raised in Honey Island, Mrs. Glaze resided in Beaumont for forty-four years, and in Nome since 1993.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont with graveside services 4:00 p.m. at Village Mills Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, July 2, 2004 at the mortuary.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Clayton Glaze of Nome; daughters, Shirley Wheelington and her husband, Paul of Beaumont, Kathy Wagley and her husband, Carlin of Nome, and Kim Perry and her husband, Tom of South Carolina; sister, Sandra Yeagin; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Glaze’s parents, Leo and Jimmie Yeagin preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
