Josie Cricchio Bourg, 83, of Nederland passed away Friday, July 24, 2009, at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2009, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of her family and friends will be Sunday, July 26, 2009, from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
Mrs. Bourg was a native of Port Arthur and has lived in Nederland for the past fifty years. She worked at Cricchio Grocery, and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where she taught CCD.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Conrad Charles Bourg, Jr.; her parents, Frank and Rosie Cricchio; two brothers, Joe and Mike Cricchio; and one sister, Bea Schroeder. Mrs. Bourg is survived by her husband of sixty five years, Haden Bourg of Nederland; two daughters, Patricia Duhon and her husband Rodney of Beaumont, Diana Licatino and her husband Danny of Port Arthur; three sons, Haden Bourg, Jr. and his wife Becky of Keller, Conrad Charles Bourg and his wife Cathy of Burleson, Conroy Alan Bourg and his wife Mary Beth of Nederland; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Gus Cricchio and his wife Josie May of Washington; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.
