Gabriel Cruz, Jr., 67, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Harbor Hospice. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Gabriel was born November 19, 1941, to Juanita and Gabriel Cruz, Sr. and worked as a truck driver.
His parents; wife, Peggy Cruz; sons, Michael Cruz, Juan Cruz and Benny William Cruz preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Christina Cruz, Concetta Brown, and Valencia Cruz; sons, Mark Cruz and Gabriel Cruz III; grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Mark Cruz, Chrisitina Cruz, Marissa Cruz, Makayla Cruz and Sebastian Cruz; great-grandchild, Cadence Brown; and sister, Rosie Collazo.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Haven of Rest Cemetery with Monsignor Michael A. Jamail officiating under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
