Mary Frances McManus, 87, of Wildwood passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Mary was born on February 12, 1922, in El Campo, Texas to John Leon and Nancy Tennessee (Albritton) Thomas. She had lived in Wildwood since 1965 and was a charter member of Wildwood Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her son, Drue McManus and his wife Ana of Wildwood; her daughter, Lynn McManus Burrell and her husband Ed of White Plains, New York; and her grandchildren, Blake Burrell, Bliss Fagan, Kristen McManus, Kaitlyn McManus and Tyler McManus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. McManus; and two sons, Mark A. and Paul McManus.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Wildwood Baptist Church with Reverend Don Mitchell and Reverend Jimmy Linn officiating. Burial will follow at Village Mills Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of her family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2009, at the mortuary.
