Rev. & Mrs. Ron Gustine Grant Park, IL July 9, 2009
Our memories of Aunt Mildred are from when she lived in Alton, IL when Steve & Becky were small. We saw them at family picnics throughout the summer.
As a teenager, Mildred lived at 701 Lampert in Alton with her parents and brother and sisters.
Ron has a memory of his Aunts Lois and Mildred taking him and his older brother Bud on the Interurban over to St. Louis for a shopping trip.
We have not seen Mildred for many years as she has been a resident in a nursing home in Beaumont, TX but we have prayed for her often. Her testimony was that she knew Jesus as her Savior, so we know we will see her again and have opportunity to visit with her and to find out all God has done in each of our lives during the in-between years. So glad for God's Word and the hope it gives us that this world is not the end. John 14:1-6

So many good memories with Aunt Moo! I think she may have given me her "sweet" tooth. :) She will be greatly missed, but I am so happy that she is no longer in pain and is now with our Lord and so many of her friends and family.
