Our thoughts and prayers are with Nickey's family. He was part of my David Crockett and BHS crowd, and later in life Don knew him in a professional capacity while he was handling the pension plan for Gulfco. He would come home telling me about the latest that Nickey had told him of his wonderful family.

I have known Nickey since we both grew up in the First Baptist Church. Nick and Thula were dear friends with my parents, Pat and Paulyne Parker. The Felsher's and the Parker's were like family. Since Nickey and I were the same age, we were forced to be friends, when I'm sure he would rather be with a "real" girlfriend! Though he tolerated me, I thought and still think he is really the true definition of a FRIEND. I will remember my friend, always.
