Linda Kay Sabins, 69, of Alpine, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
A native of Beaumont, Linda was born May 8, 1940, to Alice and Harold Harder. She moved to Alpine in 1994, where she managed her daughter’s apartments.
Survivors include her husband, John Sabins of Alpine; son, John Robert Sabins and his wife Darla of Vidor; daughters, Belinda Vrana and her husband David of San Antonio, Catherine West of Lafayette, Louisiana, Ramona West of Grandbury; brothers, Robert Harder, and Craig Harder; sister, Patricia Barney; and granddaughters, Leanne Sabins and Amanda Sabins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cherie West.
Her funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Broussard's, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be Sunday, June 14, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
