Wayne Jannise, 52 of Nederland passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Shane Baxter officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, with a Scriptural Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
Wayne was born in Beaumont and lived in China most of his life until he moved to Nederland 2 years ago. He was employed as pipe fitter out of Local #195 in Nederland. Wayne was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland where he served as a minister of hospitality.
Wayne is survived by his father, Lloyd Janise and wife ClaudeAnn of Nederland; his daughter, Angela Cormier of Vinton, Louisiana; his son, Chris Jannise of Cheek; his grandchild, Chandler Jannise; two brothers, Ricky Jannise of Magnolia, and Paul Jannise of China; two sisters, Judy Jones of Buna, and Janet Brown of Warren; also surviving Wayne is his fiancée, Anne Adaway of Nederland.
