Words cannot express my love and gratitude for Leslie Rasnick. She was more than a therapist and counselor; she was and always will be the channel through which the healing and restorative power of God made its way into my traumatized, broken heart. With remarkable strength, admirable integrity and quiet wisdom she encouraged me to begin my journey to heal when I truly felt outmatched by the trauma and deep emotional pain which I was suffering when our paths crossed. She inspired me to do the things I thought I could NEVER do. She did not "lose" her battle with cancer; she was more than a conqueror and all those who knew her were blessed by her beautiful spirit, never complaining, always uplifting. I will never, ever let go of Leslie but will cherish everything she taught me both spoken and unspoken. She imparted knowledge she attained through education and clinical practice. But, moreover she imparted wisdom and grace she learned firsthand making her lasting impression upon me all the more priceless. Mr. Rasnick , please know that your beautiful wife was one of the most amazing people I will ever know. Ethan, someday I want you to also know that your Mommy was and will always be an angel who helped hurting people find their way back to life. She truly was a gift from God and I cannot say good-bye, rather, THANK YOU...and I will see you in heaven someday...

We went to school with Leslie and just wanted to extened our deepest sympathy to whole the family, we both know what it means to lose a very special person to cancer we have both loss our dads (two different types of cancers). Leslie was such a sweet person in school, always smiling, her eyes seemed to always have that happy sparkle in them and I don't think she could ever had had any enemies for being such the sweet person she was and always will be remembered as!
