Dereck I wished you could somehow comfort your mom and dad and let them know your still here just in a different way. Your mom is very strong but still hurts so very bad and longs to see you once again, but your dad is so very sad and angry that he lost his son. I know you are watching over them but somehow you need to let them know your here and see them so sad which in turns makes you very sad. Talk to your angels up there and get them to help you help your mom and dad. I miss seeing you sitting on the porch. I always look when I pass but your not there. I miss you Dereck and love you and your family so very much! Make my request come true. You have the power Dereck.

Dereck, i can't even explain how much you mean to me, but i can try. Not a moment goes by when i don't think about you and see your face in my head, when i'm walking down the hall ways at school i don't see anyone.. i just walk in a classroom and want to see you standing there like you're waiting for me to come give you a big hug. i always think about things i could have done to bring us even more closer.. to see your face and be around your personality more. i don't understand why he'd have to take your life, you were so young and changing your life so much.. i pray for lisa, cody, jess, and shorty, they need it more than anyone else right now.
Dereck i've always loved you and i will continue to love you forever and always, I know you're still living your life after death.

I remember him when he was a little boy and how he loved his family so much and was a happy little boy. I remember the good times we had together with your family in Winnie. My prayers are with your family in this time of loss. God knows what you are facing and He is there.

I have housed, nurtured and loved this child since the 4th grade just like my own, yeah I was hard on him but it was out of love and respect for you Lisa and for Anthony. Big D was very much loved by those who knew him well and will be greatly missed by all. There could of never been a more gentler soul on earth as you Big D! I love you and miss you son.
