Chester Lee Cormier Jr., 58, of Groves passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2009 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland with Dr. Jim Williams and Dr. John Morgan officiating. A gathering of family of friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the mortuary.
Chester is a native of Vidor and has lived in Groves for the past thirteen years. He loved reading his Bible.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Janice Cormier of Groves; two sons, Shane Lee Cormier and James Warren Brabham; daughter, Leah Choate and her husband Paul; two grandchildren, Landon and Callie Choate; mother, Margie Broussard Jones; sister, Linda O’Keefe and her husband Bill; and many other loving family members and friends.
