Verby Lee Richmond, 87, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 29, 1922 in Carbondale, Illinois and has resided in Beaumont since 1991. Verby was a retired shoemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Clark and her husband Allen of Beaumont; grandson, Brian Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Verby was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Richmond.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at West End Baptist Church, 8180 Phelan Boulevard, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
