Juanita Dale Thompson, 82, of Bevil Oaks, died Monday, May 4, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
She was a native of Pineland and resident of the Beaumont area since 1933. Juanita enjoyed listening to country music and loved traveling, camping and painting.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Thompson of Beaumont; son, Randall Thompson and his wife Betty of Beaumont; daughter, Carlene Corbello of Silsbee; son, Kyle Thompson of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Johnny Taylor, Carissa Parr, Michael Corbello, Kymberly Thompson, Kristopher Thompson and Ryan Thompson; great grandchildren, Robby Parr and Ian Parr; and sister, Virginia Rowley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bridget and Joseph Edward Harris; brother, Joseph Harris; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Thompson.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Broussard’s.
